The thesis
The next decade of software is being shaped by AI agents that write, deploy, and operate code on your behalf. The platforms shipping that capability today bind you to their model, their cloud, and their pricing — three lock-ins for the price of one.
BestCoder is the opposite bet. The agent runs on your machine or your cluster. The model is yours to choose — Anthropic, OpenAI, Mistral, or your own self-hosted. The cloud is yours to own — Vercel, Railway, AWS Amplify, or on-prem. The cockpit stitches them together with audit logs, governance, and a refund-grade UX.
We believe the EU AI Act, GDPR, and the new wave of compliance demand this shape. Not because regulation is good for its own sake, but because every team with a real customer eventually needs to answer the question: who has my code, and what do they do with it?
